Why Study the Generations?

Why should we study the different generations? I believe that right now, more than ever, when we study the generations, we get into the core of today's cultural diversity. When discussing the generations often, we refer to a person's age, and there's a lot more to it than the age factor.

National and world events that occurred in a generation's collective formative years, shifts in society, prevalent parenting styles, use of technology, pop culture, and shifting of attitudes all contribute to the fabric of each generation.Understanding what drives generational differences strengthens our understanding of how attitudes are shaped and offers an indication of what the future holds for each of us!
